No Time to Text?

If you don't have time to text, say it with stickers! There is a messaging app called "Line" where you can send colorful icons, or stickers to, for example, invite someone out for food, or to gently say no. Motoko Kondo, who works at a Tokyo design agency says, "They're great when you don't have time to type out entire messages but don't want to be rude, either." Line has up to 430 million users and is free to download. It is a tough job researching the languages, customs and even slang used for each sticker. American users tend to prefer stickers that leave no space for misinterpretation, according to Mr. Watanabe. Smiles are wide, and stickers are often accompanied by captions like "Awesome!" and "Great job!"
